Trip to Ellis Island

This weekend we took a trip to battery park to travel to Ellis Island. It was truly eventful, the lines just to buy tickets were so long and they estimated an 1 & a half wait for the boat but it was more like three hours we arrived to Battery Park at 12 and did not get onto the boat until 3:15. I was so annoyed I was acting like a sour pus for the begining of the ride. I asked one of the employees working for statue cruises if it is normal for them to not have any organization and if okay to just add a second line for people to cut in. She just ignored me, Statue Cruises will hear about the horrible service that day. It was just horrible to add a second line, it was uncontrollable, people on top of people, people pushing, shoving and no respect for the elderly.
What made it all worth while was seeing my mother so happy, she was scared at first to be on the boat but she could not stop taking pictures of the water and as we passed by the statue of liberty. We went straight to Ellis island. We had a blast at the 30th anniversary Barbie dolls of the world exhibit. Afterward we went to have some Indian food. Mother had never tired Indian food and we had Somasas, and various other foods of names which I cannot remember

Relaxing Sunset

Love sunsets, sometimes its nice to get away from all the craziness of life and watch the sunset. I love watching nature in its natural form, of course until some american interrupts your shoot with his fancy video camera.
